Complimenting this beachside location, we want to create a respectful, vibrant and integrated neighbourhood village that local residents are proud to visit and call their own. To do this, OP Properties has partnered with Brightwater Care Group and over the past two years undertaken extensive private and public consultation to gain feedback on their proposed development plans. These plans generally consist of a three storey village precinct with basement parking that aims to deliver currently missing elements to the local community, including, housing options in the form of apartments and retirement living units, and local amenity in the form of small shops, cafés and restaurants fronting the exclusive O’Mara Boulevard.

*Project Update*

The City of Joondalup recently supported the Iluka Structure Plan (LSP) and approved the Local Development Plan (LDP), both with modifications at its February Ordinary Council Meeting. Both the LSP and LDP will now be forwarded to the WA Planning Commission for consideration and final determination. This final process can take two-three months.
